Founder of SEVA Foundation (Sustainable Agriculture And Enable Enterprise Voluntary Association) and development professional with more than 10 years of experience in livelihood promotion, women empowerment, FPO development, sustainable agriculture, dairy and goat-based livelihoods, SHG strengthening, and rural entrepreneurship development across Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. Experienced in project implementation, community mobilization, capacity building, financial linkage facilitation, and institution building with reputed organizations including Swayam Shikshan Prayog, The Goat Trust, Foundation for Ecological Security (FES), and DHAN Foundation.

Skilled in developing and strengthening Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), SHGs, women-led enterprises, and community institutions while creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for rural communities. Proven expertise in training, stakeholder coordination, government liaison, market linkage development, and project management. Strong understanding of sustainable agriculture, livestock-based livelihoods, natural resource management, and entrepreneurship promotion.

Passionate about working with rural communities to build resilient livelihoods, enhance women’s participation in economic development, and promote community-led development models through strategic planning, leadership, and grassroots engagement. Amruta Kulkarni

Secretory- SEVA Foundation

Amruta Kulkarni holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree and a Master of Social Work (MSW). She is a dedicated development professional with over 11 years of experience in the social sector, specializing in rural development, community mobilization, livelihood promotion, and women’s empowerment.

She began her professional journey with Gramin Vikas Mandal, where she gained experience in implementing rural development initiatives and engaging with community institutions. She subsequently worked with DHAN Foundation for three years, contributing to community-led development programs focused on strengthening grassroots institutions, promoting sustainable livelihoods, and enhancing community participation. Her experience was further enriched through her association with Deendayal Sanstha, where she supported the implementation of social welfare and community development initiatives.

For the past six years, Amruta has been associated with SEVA Foundation, where she has played a significant role in planning, coordinating, and implementing development programs across rural communities. Her work includes community mobilization, capacity building, stakeholder engagement, project monitoring, and supporting women’s groups and livelihood initiatives. Through her extensive field experience and strong commitment to social change, she has contributed to creating sustainable opportunities for vulnerable and marginalized communities.

With a solid academic background in social work and extensive grassroots experience, Amruta brings a deep understanding of community development processes and a passion for empowering rural households through inclusive and sustainable development interventions.
